CookieYes alternative: flat pricing, no pageview counting

CookieYes charges by pageviews, per domain, in dollars. If your traffic is growing, here is what that means next to a flat monthly price.

CookieYes and our Cookie Notice are aimed at similar people: someone running a website who needs a cookie banner that actually works, without a compliance department.

The differences are mostly about how you get billed.

Pageviews versus a flat price

CookieYes counts pageviews. Their Basic plan includes 100,000 a month at $10 per domain, and going over costs $0.30 for every extra 1,000.

We charge a flat €3.90 a month.

At similar volumes we are cheaper, and there is no meter running. A post that does unexpectedly well is good news rather than a slightly nervous look at next month's bill.

There is also the currency. CookieYes prices in dollars, so if you are in Europe, what you pay moves with the exchange rate. We price in euros.

Where CookieYes is the better choice

Your site is very quiet. Their free plan covers 5,000 pageviews a month, permanently, at no cost. If that fits you, take it. We only offer a 14-day trial, and paying us €3.90 for something you could have free makes no sense.

You want the cookie scanning. CookieYes leans on scanning your site to find cookies for you, with generous scan limits on the paid plans. If working out what your site actually sets is the part you are dreading, that is worth something.

Where we tend to suit people better

Predictable cost, priced in euros, and a banner that takes its styling from your site rather than looking like a plugin someone bolted on.

If you run several sites or a set of subdomains, our Pro plan at €6.90 a month covers a wildcard domain instead of charging per domain.

What is the same

Both support Google Consent Mode v2. Both remember what a visitor chose and apply it next time. Both let people change their mind.
