Complianz is a WordPress plugin for cookie consent and privacy documents. It is well made and widely used, and if all your websites run on WordPress it is probably the better buy.
We would rather say that plainly than have you find out after paying us.
Look at the numbers honestly
For a single site we come in cheaper: €39 a year against their €59.
Past the first few sites they win clearly, because they charge per site and we charge per site too, just at a different rate. Their Agency licence covers 25 sites for €399 a year. Twenty-five sites with us is €975 a year. That is not close, and no amount of framing makes it close.
They also generate the legal documents: privacy statement, disclaimer, processing agreement. We do not do any of that. We do one thing.
So when does it make sense to use us instead?
One reason, and it is the only one that matters: your sites are not all WordPress.
Complianz is a WordPress plugin. If you also look after a Shopify shop, a Webflow site, something built in Next.js, a static site, or an old site nobody wants to touch, the plugin cannot help you there. You end up running one system for the WordPress sites and something else for everything else: two dashboards, two bills, two things to keep an eye on.
Ours is a snippet of code. It does not care what the site is built with.
For an agency with a mixed portfolio, one tool across everything is usually worth more than the per-site price difference. For an agency that is WordPress top to bottom, it is not, and you should use Complianz.
The other case
If you are not an agency at all, and you have one website that is not WordPress, and you want a cookie banner sorted this afternoon, then this comparison mostly does not apply to you. Ours takes a few minutes and works anywhere.
What is the same
Both support Google Consent Mode v2. Both are proper cookie notices: refusing stops things running, and the choice sticks.
